Hello, I’m Jane Jackson. Welcome to my website.
I write Cornwall-based historical romantic fiction. Earlier in my career I wrote fourteen medical and contemporary romances for Harlequin set in exotic places. Published in 23 countries and 19 languages these have been reissued in large print and will be appearing shortly as ebooks.
But then my love of history and my home county of Cornwall beckoned. I happily followed and haven’t looked back. Thirteen of my historical romances have been published in hardback, as audiobooks and in large print. Two were short-listed for the Romantic Novel of the Year Award.
Six have recently been released by Accent Press as ebooks, and are currently being published in paperback.

But there’s more. Accent Press has accepted six of my contemporary romances originally published by Harlequin Mills & Boon for release as ebooks later this year. Thrilled doesn’t begin to describe how I’m feeling. Meanwhile the recently-completed novel has been sent off and I’ve started background reading and research for the next one. These early weeks of a new book are really exciting: so many possibilities to explore…
